My friend who is chinese got into an argument with another mutual friend who is latino and the latino friend kept pushing his opinion when the chinese friend who was right kept pushing his. The latino friend thinks he's an expert on chinese culture cuz he only dates asian chicks and watches a lot of chinese and korean dramas and kung fu flicks and mostly eats asian food for years. It was hilarious. Until one of our other mutual friends, who is black, finally stepped in and set the latino friend straight. it's funny when something like this happens.

I recall Coolio circa 1997 at, I believe, the Grammys (nominated for his song "Gangster Paradise" for the movie "Dangerous Minds") mentioning that the number one genre of music in the world at that time was hip-hop. I didn't know this at the time.
Number 1 song in 1993 was Dr Dre Nuthin But A G Thang so I guess that's not hip hop and let's not forget MC Hammer in 1990 U Can't Touch This
