Most modern music is more polished then ever. Everything is autotuned, perfectly in time and we have the most precise eq’ing.

And thats ok. If it sounds good it spunds good. Whats makes mainstream music these days a little boring is that we found a formula; wich chord progression, song structure, etc. That works well on the untrained ear. It still sounds good it just means alot of mainstream music sounds the same.

But then again. Because of the internet you can find countles uniek and great sounding artitsts.

But there is only ONE rule in music:

if it sounds good it sounds good
