A lot of our elders didn’t understand or vibe with the youth.
Many of my friends growing up are black and we listened to rock and metal and skateboarding all around the hood. I'm puerto rican from Massachusetts and in my hood we had a crew of 13 black and latinos that liked rock better than rap. Most my friends have moved away or died but we had a blast back in the late 80s and early 90s. No division, just friends
