I wonder if he could debate a real intellectual π
I am morally superior for staying in the cult..
Cult
Debate really only proves who is the better debater- not what is true.
He finally admits Mormonism is a different religion from Christianity.
It's a start!!!
Nice stuff here I am neither anti Mormon or pro Mormon. That is not my business I am simply just somebody trying to find truth in life that I can grasp on to and hold on to for as long as I can. Before the dark night sets in
What do you mean? There the ones who talk to me like Iβm stupid for believing. Then they go on to tell me stuff that I already know and yet they believe the lies that where told to them.
Frankly Iβm tired of these lazy people who donβt do there homework and seek truth in any faith.
Facts.
There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there is perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books and Benchmark Books.
Wow, Jared what is with the makeup?
Jarad flexing his muscles, intelectual or otherwise, just doesn't resonate.
The Debate is not about different faiths. It is about Fraud. When The Church finally admitted and discussed publicly Joseph Smithβs moneydigging, it comes down to either acceptance that Smith was a liar, before The Church was created or denying truth and facts. And then itβs about Bank Fraud in Kirtland. NONE of that is a difference about beliefsβ¦ itβs all about character or lack of it.
I know I'm wrong, and I need to work on it, but I find it very frustrating when members, especially ones who have been to the temple, leave the church.
I don't know many ex-lds that have faith. Mostly, they become atheists.
Then, of those that become anti. It's more broad than just anti-Mormon. They are anti-Christ. It strikes me that they begin following Satan's agenda: they want to make all men miserable like unto themselves.
Now, to the few who don't follow this pattern, let's have these amicable conversations. For the remainder, until they come to their own realization of how things really are, there is no point engaging with them.
